1st Quarter Reflection
Throughout this first quarter in ICT 10, I have gained numerous learning discoveries. I have learned about the timeline of the internet, the pioneers who have made significant contributions to its development, and the basics of creating and managing a web page and blog. I have also discovered how the internet has revolutionized communication, information sharing, and business operations.
The main challenge I have encountered is the technical aspect of creating and managing a web page and blog. Understanding how internet revolutionized and other web development languages has been a steep learning curve for me. Additionally, I have found it challenging to consistently come up with engaging and relevant content for my blog.

Leading an Environmentally Conscious Lifestyle
The environment is an invaluable asset that
sustains our existence and provides us with resources and beauty beyond
measure. As we witness the escalating threats of climate change, pollution, and
depletion of natural resources, it becomes crucial for communities to come
together and embrace an environmentally conscious lifestyle. By actively
engaging the community, we can protect and care for the environment more
effectively, fostering positive change and a sustainable future.
Trees are the most important source of oxygen, as they absorb carbon dioxide and supply us with clean, fresh air to breathe. They help to reduce ozone levels in the atmosphere, minimize noise pollution, and produce a variety of fruits and flowers with a variety of health advantages. indoor plants can also help to minimize air pollutants like benzene and nitrogen dioxide while also lowering the temperature in your house.

The Mythos of Filipino Resiliency
Resiliency is often seen as an important quality to have
because it shows how adaptive individuals and communities can be during times
of uncertainty. For Filipinos, being resilient is an even more valuable quality
to have considering that we live in communities that are very vulnerable to
natural disasters (e.g. typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.).
Furthermore, our society is in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic — an
unprecedented event that has been really taking a toll on our physical and
mental well-being. Although being resilient definitely helps our people in
keeping a positive mindset during these trying times, one might ask: is my
resiliency being reciprocated with proper and effective action from the
government? One might also think that the government has learned from decades
of destruction brought upon by natural disasters. Unfortunately, as shown by
the government’s response (or lack thereof) to these recent disasters, that is
not the case.

ME, MYSELF AND I
My name is Nikka, I'm 15 I have been a student at ISNHS for a years, I am a hard-working and individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my studies and I know how to get my homework done. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. My passion for learning is evident in my pursuit of higher studies. Furthermore, my strong work ethic is evident in my willingness to take on multiple roles and responsibilities.
I work hard and have goals I want to achieve in life, including in being a successful businesswoman and honoring my parents by finishing school. When I was younger, I had no idea why this is my greatest goal. I really feel that I wanted to be one because of the money so that I could make helping my family, and myself by purchasing the things I wanted. I put a lot of effort and trust into making things happen. I always give my all because I think that doing my best now is the best preparation for the future.
